Next Stop: The Journey of Music Therapy

Statement on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. We are committed to making diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging part of everything we do- from how we design our downloadable handouts to how we present materials. We aim to honor the perspectives of people with different personal, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and promote an inclusive and equitable culture in all efforts and events. We strive to be a part of a diverse community of music therapy students, interns, and professionals, including folks of all races, religions, genders, disabilities, ages, national origins, sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

Access and Accommodations. TMTS is committed to creating an accessible conference for all attendees. As a part of all of our events, we incorporate captions and transcripts, high contrast visuals, recordings of content, and text only handouts as much as possible, but we also understand that every person’s access needs are different. If you should require specific accommodations in order to access the conference, please indicate your needs by contacting us as soon as feasible and prior to the conference to be discussed and all attempts to address made before the conference begins. Please bring your confidential requests, questions, or concerns, directly to us by emailing admin@themusictherapyspot.onmicrosoft.com, to allow accommodations to be incorporated based on individual needs.
